CDMS performed verification for the complex shaped pressure vessels on a new calciner for Alcan Grove. The designers used FEA for the complete pressure vessel system which was verified by CDMS using FEA.

• Erection support structures, working platforms and lifting beam for Windimurra Rotary Kiln. Kiln was elevated approx 6m above ground and was prefabricated in sections weighing up to 90T each.
• Flare tip replacement study and design of special davit, platforms and erection aids required for Harriet Alpha Flare Tip replacement (offshore).
• 65T SWL Lifting Frame for lifting of Air Cooled Heat Exchangers on Woodside LNG Train 4 Project.
• Lifting study / design of lifting beams, lift lugs, tailing connections to sections of a 6.5m dia x 60m high stack for Alstom Power/Western Power Kwinana Power Station – Heaviest section lift 93Tonne.
• FEA of various pipe supports for Woodside Train IV project for loadings beyond manufacturer’s tabulated values.
• FEA of Woodside Vent Stack hot tap split tee – welds and reinforcement.
