Mechanical Verification Examples

CDMS has performed a wide range of pressure equipment design verification (pressure vessel design verification) work to AS1210, AS1210 Supp’t 1, AS3857, TEMA, ASME VIII Div 1, Div 2, Div 3, PD5500, API 6A, AS4041, ASME B31.1 & ASME B31.3. We have also performed verification work outside the scope of conventional engineering techniques, including FEA. Our Specialist services page provides information on these.

We have completed over 1000 pressure vessel verifications ranging from basic such as a shell and tube exchanger (AS1210, 5 m high, 1 m OD) to more involved designs such as the cryogenic vessels shown below.

We also perform piping verification - for example we performed a flexibility analysis for over 200 m of piping and supports to ASME B31.3 and AS3990.
